Identification for Official LiveJournal Communities

Identification for Official LiveJournal Communities

Short, concise description of the idea
Create an identification section for official LiveJournal communities similar to that of the "Partner :" and "Sponsered :" identifications.

Full description of the idea
When I was looking at a friend's profile, I noticed in the "Member of :" section that there was a grouping for "Partner" and "Sponsdered" communities. It looked as follows:

Partner (1): partner_name
Sponsored (1): sponser_name

Perhaps this designation can be applied for all official LiveJournal communities (news, community_promo, lj_support, etc.). For example, the preceding text in the "Member of :" section of the profile could say "Official LiveJournal Community :" or "Official :". All others would just be in a "Community" section.

The [revised] profile could look something like this:

Member of (4):
Partner (1): partner_name
Sponsored (1): sponser_name
Official (1): official_name
Community (1): community_name

An ordered list of benefits
  • More asily identifiable communities/categories in profile
  • Already adding to the community/profile background in place (i.e. the breakouts for sponsers and partner communities"
  • For LiveJournal employees and volunteers, the breakout could look more prestigous in your profile and not get lumped in with all the regular communities you may be a part of
