Less Repetition in Web spellchecker

Title
Less Repetition in Web spellchecker

Short, concise description of the idea
If you misspell a word frequently in one posting with the web-based spellchecker, it gives suggestions for that word over and over. It should only list each suggestion once.

Full description of the idea
If I'm talking about my friend Vika whose name isn't in the dictionary and I mention her name 20 times, I don't need to be given suggestions on alternate spellings for it 20 times. It should, though, give the number 20 in parentheses. Example: Instead of

VikaVila, Via, Viki, Vida, Vina, Visa, Vita, Viva, Vial, Vick, Vodka, Villa, Viola, Voila, KIA
VikaVila, Via, Viki, Vida, Vina, Visa, Vita, Viva, Vial, Vick, Vodka, Villa, Viola, Voila, KIA
we should see
Vika (2 times)Vila, Via, Viki, Vida, Vina, Visa, Vita, Viva, Vial, Vick, Vodka, Villa, Viola, Voila, KIA

An ordered list of benefits

  • Shorter spellcheck results.
  • Easier to find real errors.
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • It might be easier to find each individual typo under the current system.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • Assuming the code at http://www.livejournal.com/code/spellcheck/ is accurate and up to date, it would be pretty simple to implement this (I could do it). Instead of appending the HTML to $footnotes for each wrong word, you'd make a %footnotes and put the suggestions in it, and make all of the footnote text after all spellchecked text is parsed. If somebody could point me to something showing the best format for diffs and where to post them, I would do this patch.
