Add free text areas to all styles
Short, concise description of the idea
This is a long term fix for the style=mine issue where the content in dateless sticky posts and free text boxes are not shown when a user has the site-wide style=mine option enabled.
Full description of the idea
The content in sticky posts and free text boxes is saved in the style template, not in a database where it can be displayed regardless of style. I assume this is because not all styles have free text areas. The problem with this is that users are not seeing the content they should, such as community FAQ instructions. Regardless of how the site-wide style=mine issue is handled in the short term (whether it's disabled on main journal pages or not), I suggest that the free text content be moved out of the style template and that all styles have theses feature enabled so that appending style=mine to any url does not result in a loss of content.
- Users will be able to see the content they are meant to without having to view journals in their native style
- Users would no longer need to use future dated posts
- More features for styles
- Time consuming for developers
- Users might be used to the current site behaviour and are using their sticky posts and free text boxes as useful links/content to have anywhere when viewing journal pages
