Bozo-filter serial friend-adders

Short, concise description of the idea
When an account has friended over 150 other accounts, further friendings should not generate email notifications to the target users. This will help combat friend spam.

Full description of the idea
There has been a spate of Cyrillic-speaking users/bots that are indiscriminately friending random accounts. I have tried to contact these users, but have received no response.

They are either bots or just really annoying/pathetic users. I get an email every time I get friended by one, so I've had to turn off the email-on-friending notification feature.

Bozo-filters are quite useful in combating certain social network annoyances. I suggest that if a user has over 10 times more outbound friends than inbound friends AND the outbound friend count is over 150, the user may still add friends but no notifications will be generated.

An ordered list of benefits
  • Users may still add as many friends as they want.
Only a limited number of random users will get notified of the spurious friendings.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • It is within the realm of possibility that a few legitimate users behave in this manner. The only downside is that notifications may not get sent after 150.
