Automatically select the "date out of order" when date is change manually

Automatically select the "date out of order" when date is change manually

Short, concise description of the idea
It'd be great if the update page's form would auto-update when the date or time is manually changed, so the "date of order" checkbox is checked.

Full description of the idea
As it stands, if you choose to backdate an entry, you have to change the date and/or time, as well as check the "date out of order" box. I'm not sure why the box is even necessary - given that an extra step is required to change the date or time in the first place, one should assume that the change is intentional. If the box needs to be there, though, it'd be handy if AutoPostBack or something similar were implemented to auto-select that box when the date or time is changed

An ordered list of benefits
  • It would remove one less step from the journal updating/posting process.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • It's a code change, so it might take a little time to develop, test, and implement.
