Manage Friends

Short, concise description of the idea
I think there should be a way to filter journals on the manage friends page.

Full description of the idea
When you click on the Manage Friends page, it tends to be hard to find what you're looking for if you have more than about 25 people listed, or who list you. I think there should be a way to filter how you view that page. For example, you should be able to choose whether you want to view the entire list, just mutual friends, just people who have you friended, or just people whom you have friended. Beyond that, I think the manage friends groups page should be integrated into the manage friends page, so you can click on, say, "Work" and view all your friends whom you've placed into that group. Not view them as on your friends page, but view the list of journals and communities in that group, just like you see on the manage friends page.

An ordered list of benefits
  • - ease of finding a specific journal or bunch of journals
  • - ease of accessing a specific journal
  • - ease of organizing your friends list
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • - a large number of links on one page, if you use a lot of friends groups (although significantly fewer links than there is now)
