Full description of the idea
Being about to search the LiveJournal directory according to users closest to the starting point (zip code) of the search so users can locate other users closest to them by typing in a zip code to begin searching from instead of individual city, state locations.
- You could easily find users closest to you.
- One search would replace multiple searches in areas where many towns and cities are close together.
- Directory searches done by location would be more accurate and efficient.
- A "zip code" section for location purposes may need to be added to user profiles.
