Streamlined installation of counters

Streamlined installation of counters

Short, concise description of the idea
It's preposterous that non-code users who have specifically picked S2 have to figure out code in order to do something as simple as add a counter.

Full description of the idea
I am using my blog for professional development. As a result, I am linking to it from my own website as well as putting together various marketing plans. In order to see which is most effective I would like to use a basic counter to track the numbers.

However, I don't have time to figure out CSS. That's why I picked an S2 style in the first place and left the defaults alone. If I wanted to be a programmer I'd have studied programming.

I am considering the purchase of an account (figured I'd try before I buy), but this is almost a deal breaker for me. I'd do better on Myspace which has counters BUILT IN.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • For one thing, most counter code is SEVERAL lines in length. Even for a cut and paste, one text line is insufficient to install it. Increase this text box size sufficiently to allow for actual code cut/paste.
