BCC journal user on "Tell A Friend"

Short, concise description of the idea
BCC the journal user when using the "Tell A Friend" feature.

Full description of the idea
I love the convenience of the Tell A Friend feature - it's much quicker than opening up another email program webmail, when I just want to send a quick link and note. However, I also like keeping a history of all my actions, such as email I send, so I usually include myself as a recipient. A BCC would be a much cleaner implementation. Opt-in, as described below.

An ordered list of benefits
  • Increased functionality to make the Tell A Friend feature more appealing.
  • Easier use of appropriate email headers.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • None that I can think of, except wasted time, since it's already possible to manually copy emails to yourself.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Preferably, users would be able to select in their settings whether they want to be BCCed on all emails they send. Or each form would also have a checkbox to determine for each individual email whether a BCC is necessary. Or, ideally, a combination where the setting would determine what the default state of the checkbox is.
