Option to Hide Membership of Communities on Profile

Title
Option to Hide Membership of Communities on Profile

Short, concise description of the idea
I would like to have the option to not have to reveal which communities I belong to.

Full description of the idea
The user may select the option to hide the communities they are members of by going to the Edit Profile page, where there would be a check box to select/de-select. Also, they may also have the option to choose who can see their communities on their Profile page, to include letting the public, their Friends, or just the user themselves.

In addition, users should have the option to also make private their Friends page (in their LJs, since some communities are friended), to include letting the public, their Friends, or just the user themselves, see the Friends page.

An ordered list of benefits
  • Users would have better control on their privacy on which communities they've joined.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • None? I don't think it will affect any other feature of the both the user's Profile page and their Friends page.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • To hide which communities they've joined on the Profile page, the user would go to their Edit Profile page, where there would be a check box to select/de-select. Also, there may also be an option to choose who can see their communities on their Profile page, to include letting the public, their Friends, or just the user themselves.
  • To hide their Friends page, the user would go to "Edit Journal Style" already available in the navigation menu, where this option could be installed under the first tab, "Basics".
