Sync commands between LJ Talk and txtLJ

Sync commands between LJ Talk and txtLJ

Short, concise description of the idea
While they both have posting commands, the syntax between them is different, nor does LJ Talk have the range of commands.

Full description of the idea
For example to make text post via LJ Talk, you send an IM to Frank in the form:

post: [Your Subject] Your post....

where in txtLJ you send:

POST (subject) body

Notice the lack of ":" and the "()" vs "[]" between the two forms.

LJ Talk does not have the following commands: postcomm, i like, add, friends, and read

An ordered list of benefits
  • Less confusion for users of both posting systems

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • It is possible that friends and/or read could overwhelm the limited text capability of a member's phone or jabber client.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • If I may, I would assume that the backend is common between the 2 services, it should be a simple matter to add the commands to LJ Talk service.
