Addition to the navigation/menu bar.

Addition to the navigation/menu bar.

Short, concise description of the idea
In the nav bar (I mean the one that shows at the top of journals, if you select the option to view it), it would be useful to have a link to earlier entries in that journal/community.

Full description of the idea
Most/many journals and communities have the link to previous posts only at the bottom of the journal, or hidden to one side, depending on layout. Since posts are usually ordered by time, most recent first, one needs to start reading at the bottom, and scroll upward. Then one needs to scroll down to see previous entries. If it would be easy to put a link to previous entries in the nav bar, it could be a useful addition, perhaps. There appears to be enough space to add another link, (at least to the untrained eye!).

An ordered list of benefits
  • Ease of reading journal pages.

  • Easier journal navigation.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • May be difficult to code.

  • Others may not think it necessary.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • May be useful to do a poll via the feedback community to see whether others think this would be a good addition.
