Setting the sidebar width in Disjointed layout

Setting the sidebar width in Disjointed layout

Short, concise description of the idea
Allowing a fixed width of the sidebar in the Disjointed layout will give more control over how the layout is displayed.

Full description of the idea
At the moment I can't add the 'page summary' to the sidebar in Disjointed as the summary will not wrap and makes the sidebar too wide, thus making the whole page too wide for my screen which is set to a moderate 1024px width.
This makes reading the journal a bit of a pain because of having to side-scroll.
Even without the page summary the layout is still just too wide for my screen, although this is not as much of a problem as the overflow is dead space anyway.

An ordered list of benefits
  • No side scrolling
  • More control over the layout (be it by pixels or percents, it will display better).

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • [none that I am aware of]

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Fairly straight forward - adding the option in the custom options page of the layout.
