Allow customizing of the meta-data entry allowed in the portal "Quick Update" module

Short, concise description of the idea
In the "Quick Update" module of the LJ Portal, you can currently select which journal to post to, what security level to have, and enter tags. It would be very handy to be able to select to have other meta-data available for entry here (such as mood, music, location, etc.). This would be customizable, so that you could select which meta-data you wanted available for quick-entry.

Full description of the idea
(I think the above description is clear enough; at least, I can't think of a more lengthy description that would be any clearer...)

An ordered list of benefits
  • Quick update LJ Portal module will be more functional.
  • Users can focus on what meta-data they want to have available when they create new entries.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • None that I can think of (complexity is not a problem, because there is no change to the visual appearance until you use the "edit" option to add more meta-data)

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • There are already affordances for an "edit" option for content modules in the LJ portal, so it would make sense to make use of this for an interface.
