Interests shared by suspended users should be treated as unique

Interests shared by suspended users should be treated as unique

Short, concise description of the idea
If an interest is shared by suspended users only, it should not become a hyperlink on userinfo.bml -- it should be in plain text, as if it were unique.

Full description of the idea

There is a section of interests on userinfo.bml page, and some of its items are unique, because these interests never were shared by any other LiveJournal user. These interests are in plain text. Some other interests are hyperlinks leading to (search by interest). However, some of these searches still report only 1 interested user. As far as I can guess, this happens when all other users sharing this interest are suspended for impersonating the original user (copying his userpics, his list of interests, his ICQ UIN etc.) Nevertheless, this interests should not become hyperlinks, because effectively they are also unique.

Examples: восстановление национального достоинства господь отберёт своих национальное освобождение русское общественное движение хэкерское самоощущение

These interests are shared by me -- and, most likely, by a few users that were suspended by Abuse Team for impersonating me (i.e. violating Terms of Service). Still these interests has yet no other decent people to share them with me; they should be treated unique and cease to become hyperlinks in my bio.

An ordered list of benefits
  • If unique interests were not hyperlinks, it would let not be really tricky to determine which of interests are unique. Right now, if an interest is not underlined and hyperlinked, this only means it's more or less new.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • The problem is, I am not an expert of dealing with interests. Maybe there's a reason to have to click on a link in somebody's bio section to find out that he/she is the only one who share this very bit of interests, and this being unique is not to be shown directly.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • As far as I can guess, there's a counter somewhere that counts LJ users sharing some interest. A hypelink should be turned back to plain text when that counter reaches 1 back again. And counter's value should decrease when an interested user is suspended, or its journal deleted. Right when it happens. Not to wait for purging.
