Opening in new frames

Short, concise description of the idea
Change the lj code so that when a user clicks to comment/read comments on their friends list, it opens in a new window

Full description of the idea
same as above

An ordered list of benefits
- If you do this, it could take away much of the problem with the friends list loading. I already do it for my journal by right clicking.
- Users who click through normally to comment and then want to read more of the list click "back" which sends another request to the server, adding to stress

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
- Some people will think it's a problem... no doubt
- A possible disadvantage for people with smaller screens? {the 640 people}

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
Like i said, I already do this when i am able to read my friends list, i just right click on the link for reading or posting and have it open in a new window, and so this way, once i am done reading/commenting, my friends list is still there like before, no refreshing or waiting for the page to load again.

I figure that since when journals begin to come up again it seems to be in the order of main page and then friends page, that it must be more difficult to get friends pages to work since they ask for more data and things like that. Maybe you could use this for now, to buy you time, and not have so many requests on your servers. Try it during a peak time... see if it makes a difference.
