Using Community Icons in Moderator's Posts

Short, concise description of the idea
As a default rule, make all posts in a community by the moderator of that community use the default community icon.

Full description of the idea
Currently, community icons serve no real purpose unless a user sets their friends page defaults so that the community icon shows up when any member posts there. I'm proposing that all posts made by the moderator of a community use the community icon by default so that moderator posts can be more easily recognized. If a moderator does not want to use the community icon, they can have the option to use their uploaded usericons instead.

An ordered list of benefits

  • puts community icons to a more extensive use
  • allows for easier recognition of moderator posts within a community
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • time consumption in implementing this in the current system
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • When posting in a community, the option to use a community's default icon should be listed in addition to a user's regular usericons if that user is the moderator of the community they want to post in.
  • An alternative suggestion for this would be to allow communities to have a moderator icon slot that would take up one of the 3 icon slots for free users. When a moderator is posting, the moderator icon is used as a default instead of the community icon. This could be used if there is an issue with the "use community icon" friends posting options.
