Add Link List to the Manage section of Site Navigation

Add Link List to the Manage section of Site Navigation

Short, concise description of the idea
Add a link to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/links.bml somewhere on the site navigation. Probably best under Manage.

Full description of the idea
Currently, the only place I can find that links to the http://www.livejournal.com/manage/links.bml page for managing the S2 Link List is in the FAQ. It makes lots of sense to me that this should be a fixture in the site's navigation.

An ordered list of benefits

  • Reduce user confusion.
  • Increase Customization efficiency.
  • Round out site navigation.
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • Would require a site-wide modification
  • Doesn't apply to users of S1 styles or not-logged-in users.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • Perhaps the display of the Link List text could be, tied into which style system the logged-in user is using. If they're running S1 (or not logged in) then it shouldn't display.
  • Tags: links list, user interface, § rejected
