Add memories for suggestions that lj_dev likes, decides to implement, or are already being worked on.
Short, concise description of the idea
A lot of people who post here wonder if the developers read or like their suggestions, and if so, what the turnover on deciding to implement them is. I suggest that memories of important suggestions or suggestions that are being worked on be added and regularly updated .
Full description of the idea
Someone makes a suggestion. Does anyone, namely developers read it? Is it on someone's to do list? Have they already started coding it? Did they say it'd be a great feature but postpone doing it into the indefinite future? Does the idea just suck? Is it something that can be done with current LJ features, and is thus redundant? The community admin or the developers should add it to memories each time a worthy suggestion is posted or started work on.
**update** I just looked at the suggestions area.
In light of this (/suggestions/prior.bml), my suggestion gains relevance...we hope...
An ordered list of benefits
Users can see if their suggestion made it
User can see how long ago their suggestion was made and compare it to how long it takes to get it done
Developers can organize important suggestiosn easier
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
A pain in the ass to maintain these if you're not organized
perhaps the developers already have a system for this, but the users are left in the dark
An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
None. You know how to use memories.
