Friends foreground/background colours

Friends foreground/background colours

Short, concise description of the idea
A checkbox that lets you 'select all'

Full description of the idea
I used to have a black background on my journal, so I canged all my friends on the edit friends page to have white text - so I could read it. Now I have a white background and can no longer read the names of users on my friends page. So I have to go through one by one and change the colours. I have a lot of friends (go me!) and it's taking a while to get through them all. For those of us who just want to change the whole lot, a little checkbox that selects all of them (instead of having to type them in and only being able to do a few at a time) would be nice, the same way you have checkboxes for deleting them. Or at least the ability to tick a few of them and use the colour combos to affect those specific users. Some people use terrible combinations of letters or terms in their usernames, and having to type each user individually is a hassle. Likewise going to the users userinfo page and re-clicking the add friend button is nifty, but time comsuming backtracking to it all the time. Any chance of this happening?

An ordered list of benefits

  • saves time
  • makes it easier to put your friends list in order
  • if you change background colours/patterns alot(as I do) it's much easier to change as needed.
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • I'm not sure what to put here. I suppose just that it's probably not a priority in the scheme of things.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • tickboxes to select multiple users similar to the current delete box on offer so can select bunches of friends at once to change.
  • maybe instead of typing each user we could use a drop down box that already has them all in?
  • the ability to choose some colours and make them apply to all people on friends list
