Option to show first x characters of entry in view subjects mode

Short, concise description of the idea
Basically what the title says. Add an option to display the first 100 characters or so of the journal entry under the title in view subjects mode.

Full description of the idea
This would make it a lot easier for users to find specific entries if they can't remember the subject line, because they would be able to see the first few words. It would be even cooler if the number of characters displayed could be set by the user (within a reasonable range, of course). HTML used in entries could either be escaped or removed entirely..I dunno?

An ordered list of benefits

  • Users who are looking for a specific entry but can't remember the subject they used (or didn't use a subject line at all) can find entries easier by being able to read the first few words.
  • That's really the only benefit I can think of? It's a good one though :)
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • Probably a hit on the database? Maybe make it paid users only if it'd be that big of a problem..
  • If not implemented to display "prettily", the View Subjects page could get kinda cluttered-looking..
  • Might be something that's better implemented in S2? I don't want to wait though ;P
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • I'm not sure, but it can't be too much harder than grabbing the entry text and just telling it to cap after however many characters?
  • As for how it should display, it'd probably look best just sticking the entry text on a line below the subject..nothing fancy..
