Ability to create a memory for ANY Live Journal Page

Ability to create a memory for ANY Live Journal Page

Short, concise description of the idea
Currently users can use the memory feature to "remember" any entry. I'd like to see this expanded to include any page on Live Journal.

Full description of the idea
This is an expansion of technodummy's idea here. Instead of just limiting it to Support Requests and specific comments, being able to add memories of communities that contain helpful information, FAQs, etc.

An ordered list of benefits

  • Would benefit users like myself who are rarely at the same computer to index valuable links quickly, and in a centralized place, as oppossed to using a browsers "Favorites" capability.
  • Could create a memory for anything, including someone else's journal the user likes to watch, but doesn't necessarily want to add to their friends list
  • Could be used as a paid member benefit only, and might boost (however slightly) paid accounts purchases.
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • The programming involved, no matter how easy, would still require someone to do it
  • Bandwidth? Database usage? I'm sure one of those applies.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • To create the link on a .bml page, it could be added to the side bar. Creating a memory to a users entire journal would be a bit more tricky. I would suggest creating a page, like /friends/edit.bml that would display text boxes to copy and paste links into.
