Title
Have Snap Shots obey ?style=mine and ?format=light

Short, concise description of the idea
Snap Shots should obey the settings of ?style=mine and should not appear in ?format=light

Full description of the idea
Currently, the link previews from Snap.com display in ?style=mine according to the owner of the journal's settings and not the journal settings of the viewer. Since ?style=mine is supposed to emulate the viewer's style, it should follow those viewing options.

This means that if a viewer has Snap.com previews off and views another journal with them on in ?style=mine, the Snap.com previews will not appear. If the viewer has Snap.com previews on and views another journal that has them off in ?style=mine, the Snap.com previews will appear. This is in line with the behavior of other settings, such as whether or not to display the navstrip.

Additionally, ?format=light was designed to be the most lightweight way to view a page, so Snap.com should not load for it.

An ordered list of benefits
  • Might help people who dislike Snap.com previews by disabling it in their ?style=mine views on journals that have it on.
  • Might help people who like Snap.com previews by enabling it in their ?style=mine views on journals that have it off.
  • Will keep the ?format=light option lightweight.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Can't think of any quite yet.

Title
Scrapbook/Gallery

Short, concise description of the idea
A way of viewing the scrapbook or gallery of the person's page that you are currently looking at without the person having to do a journal post with the pictures on it.

Full description of the idea
I would like for people to be able to view my scrapbook when visiting my LJ page (I'm not sure if you have that option for that yet or not). I think it would be a good thing to have available from the person's LJ Page.

An ordered list of benefits
  • It would be easier to see the person's pictures without so much effort from either party (the looker or the poster).
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • I don't really see any drawbacks from this; I believe it would be good all around.
Thanks for reading what I have to say on this matter! :)
