Loyalty Userpics should be available after paid time expires

Title
Loyalty Userpics should be available after paid time expires

Short, concise description of the idea
Basically, I feel that any 'loyalty' Userpics, gained whilst you had paid time, should remain available when that time expires, rather than turning inactive.

Full description of the idea
It's more of a morale thing than practical suggestion. It seems odd to me that Userpics that have been awarded for loyalty in buying Paid Account time, should be suspended when the user stops buying Paid Account time. Surely the loyalty should run both ways?

Also, it doesn't make much sense to deny people access to them when they don't have a Paid Account. After all, at most we're talking about 37 Userpics. You can't buy an amount that small and it's unlikely that just having the extra Userpic space is what's going to convince people to continue paying for their Paid Account.

An ordered list of benefits
  • - Users loyalty is rewarded continually, rather than just whilst they're paying.
  • - A user has something to remember their Paid Account time by.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • - Possibly some issue about 'Basic' account only having X Userpics (except when they previously had Paid Account time) would get confusing and awkward to reflect in all the documentation.
  • - Lots of users who had some Paid Account time bought for them once would end up having 1 or 2 extra Userpics, meaning perhaps an increased average number of Userpics across the site as a whole.

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • - Possibly disabling the loyalty Userpics when Paid Accounts expire is horribly tied up with the rest of the system, making it a really difficult thing to ask of the developers.
  • - To get this going, people should discuss it, and see if they think it's a sensible idea. After all this isn't a 'feature' that needs adding, it's just a subtle change to something that already exists.

Password protection

Title
Password protection

Short, concise description of the idea
Making it so for anyone to view your journal from your username they have to enter a password

Full description of the idea
When you click on the "View Journal." Button, you have to enter a password to look at it. This will make it more private for those who share computers with family members and forget to log out of LJ. It should be optional of course.

An ordered list of benefits
  • You can keep your journal more private

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • It may get irritating to keep entering a password anytime you wanna look at your journal (Thats why it should be optional)

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Uhm...I don't know... =/ Just mess with the password protection stuff i guess.

Comments in emails

Title
Comments in emails

Short, concise description of the idea
To stop putting your entire LJ entry in the emails that get sent out alerting a comment

Full description of the idea
When you get sent an email saying you have a comment, it won't have the entry in it, just a button that will lead you to that post if you want to see what it said. That way if someone else gets into your email they won't see what you wrote.

An ordered list of benefits
  • You can keep your journal more private
  • It'll save time, (Eg: My computers uber slow and takes forever to load long emails, if you take those out it'll take less time to load)

An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • You may not know what the person is talking about in the comment (Which is why a button leading you to the entry would be good =])

An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation
  • Make sure you put a button leading to your journal into the email, that way you have the option to see what the entry being commented on said.
