Since community moderation has gone live on the site for testing, suggestions
has been changed so posts are now moderated. All posts will still need to come from the form
, but they'll now also need to be approved. If a suggestion is rejected for whatever reason, you will receive an email with the reason for rejection and the full text of your suggestion.
At this time, erin
and I only plan to reject suggestions that are incomplete/nonsense or duplicate suggestions. If your suggestion is a duplicate, the rejection note will contain a link to the previously posted version so you may view it if you so desire. If you are suggesting a better implementation or version of a particular feature, Erin and I will consider approving yours and removing the old version.
Because the moderation code is still being tested, and we are unsure of how it will interact with the form, you may encounter problems. If you do, please inform us so that we may report bugs. If it turns out to be a problem, we will revert to a non-moderated community until the situation has been resolved.

EDIT: A bug has been found that prevents this from working correctly. Rather than potentially losing moderated submissions, we are holding off approval until the bug has been fixed. We apologise for the inconvenience.
