"Abbreviated context" option in email notify.
Short, concise description of the idea
Allow users to choose whether the full text of the original post should always be included in the email notifying them of a response.
Full description of the idea
As it stands now, the emails for "Reply to your post" always include the full text of the original post. In most cases, this is useful--the user would want to know which post the reply corresponds with. However, if the user writes long posts that get several comments, it tends to take up a lot of email space. For instance, if I write a post of about 600 words, and five people write short replies to it, I get about 30K of email, most of which is my own writing, which I don't need to read in entirety five times over in my email. I suggest that users should be able to choose an option to abbreviate context. If they chose this, the emails would still say, "(Whoever) replied to your post where you said:" but would only include a short amount of the original post, perhaps five lines or so.
