Full description of the idea
Some times I have problems getting my journal page to open during peak hours, but I can always get to a post. So to make sure my post doesn't have errors in it, it would be nice to have another link on the last update.bml page, to get to that post. It could say something like this; Logging in to server... Login successful. Hello, Hemlock! Updating journal... Update successful. You may view your updated journal or go directly to your post.

An ordered list of benefits

  • It could be less of a load on the servers because of not having to view the whole journal to see one post.
  • It could be less of a load on the servers because people wouldn't be pressing refresh all the time to try and get to see their post.
  • If you arent using the <lj-cut> tag you could check your html for errors, I know I would use it everytime.
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • I really can't think of any.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • Code the first update.bml page so it remembers what post it just made, then add the extra link in the second update.bml page. I guess that's how to do it?
  • Tags: entry creation, entry editor, § implemented
