Move Comments to a different community

Move Comments to a different community

Short, concise description of the idea
Using the Windows Client, be able to take a comment I posted and put it in the community I meant to post it to.

Full description of the idea
I frequently post comments to the youmaylikethis blog. I frequently forget to set the fact that I'm posting to a community, so the post ends up on my personal journal. I then have to cut and paste and delete, to get it all in the right place.

An ordered list of benefits

  • Less work for users who keep forgetting to set the option
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • Can't think of any.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • It's already doable, in 9 steps. This could simply be automated.
  • 1) Open the last entry I made
  • 2) Cut the content
  • 3) Delete the title
  • 4) Save the changes (thus deleting the entry)
  • 5) Open a new entry
  • 6) Remember to set the option this time
  • 7) Retype the title (if I can remember it)
  • 8) Paste the contents (if the cut worked in the first place)
  • 9) Save
