Inclusion of original comment poster's name in email notifications of replies.

Title
Inclusion of original comment poster's name in email notifications of replies.

Short, concise description of the idea
When a user replies to a comment someone else left on one of your posts, the notification email should include the name of the person who posted the original comment.

Full description of the idea
The email currently states: "Name (user) replied to another comment somebody left in your LiveJournal post. The comment they replied to was:". I think "somebody" should be replaced with the name and/or username of the person who left the comment.

An ordered list of benefits

  • It would make it easier to follow discussions with email notifications.
  • An ordered list of problems/issues involved

  • None that I can think of.
  • An organized list, or a few short paragraphs detailing suggestions for implementation

  • I'm not overly familiar with the workings of LJ, but I don't imagine it would take much more than changing a few lines of code.
  • Tags: comments, notifications: email, § implemented
