Improve the tweeting of posts

Improve the tweeting of posts

Short, concise description of the idea
It would be great if posting to Twitter made it clear that the post came from LJ. It would also be nice if it could use the user's API key so they could track them.

Full description of the idea
At the moment, if I make a post it goes to Twitter, but only with the post's subject line. I'd love to be able to customise this so that rather than the Tweet saying
"I like peas!"
it said
"LJ Post: I like peas!"
so that people can differentiate between my journal updates and other things I post to Twitter.

Additionally, when posting to Twitter I can't tell how many people clicked on the link easily, because it's not posted with my API key. If it was, then I could track it easily.

An ordered list of benefits
  • Differentiate LJ posts from other things in your Twitter stream.
  • Allow users to track how many clicks their posts get.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • N/A
