Managing My F-list

Title
Managing My F-list

Short, concise description of the idea
On the "Manage Friends" page it would be SO helpful if beside each "Friend" there was a date stamp for when they last updated (for posts at the Security Setting of Friends or Everyone. Obviously "Private Posts" would have to remain private). Then scanning down the list wouldn't be so frustrating. (Some "friends" update like once a quarter or less!!!)

Full description of the idea
Seems simple enough to code-in another small column that captures and posts the friend's date from their Most Recent Entry (for posts at the Security Setting of Friends or Everyone. Obviously "Private Posts" would have to remain private), with a simple filter to skip/ignore those "future dates", since so many of us have "Banner Entries" with dates out there to keep them at the top of the LJ.

An ordered list of benefits
  • On the "Manage Friends" page I could easily see/read those who just updated their LJ AND at the same place REMOVE those on my f-list who have "gone missing" or otherwise become inactive posters.
  • This would (I think) save resources for LJ itself because if I don't want dead weight on my f-list, LJ can't want it on their servers.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Compromised LJ Privacy might jump to mind in revealing when someone posts to their LJ. However, since their "Most Recent Post" is already there as soon as they've posted, I can't see how it would be an issue. A simple (and DEFAULT) "Opt Out" setting [for those posts that users don't want their FRIENDS to know they have posted] ought to do the trick.
